My name is Bernie Puza and I have been making pens since June 2006. I have always enjoyed working with wood and the desire to start designing and making pens started when my wife Kathy returned from work at the hospital with a pen that a patient made and gave to her as a token of his appreciation for her work with him. I couldn't believe that someone could make a simple pen into a piece of art from an exotic piece of wood. I spent some time understanding how this was done and found so much information and actual video's on line of penturner's making pens. I saved up to purchase a Jet Mini Lathe and after a year of developing knowledge and skill and many hours/days of trial and error, sold my first pen at a local Church Craft Fair.                                                                                                                                 I feel that if you are going to spend  $20. - $300. for a pen that I create, I want you to have that pen for your lifetime. This is why I will repair or replace any pen that I create that should break under normal conditions for my lifetime.  I stand behind my work and want it to serve you as a functional piece of art that you can use everyday.
